Suivi par une caméra-œil mystérieuse, il explore les dualités d’un Cuba à la fois moderne et en ruines. Entre les murmures de la technologie et les chants d’oiseaux, son voyage intérieur reflète son monde fermé, culminant dans une transformation poétique, une métaphore de sa lutte pour la liberté face aux contraintes géopolitiques et technologiques.
La Juventud es una Isla fuses documentary and fiction to capture the quest for identity of Yasse, an influential Cuban YouTuber. Followed by a mysterious camera-eye, he explores the dualities of a Cuba that is both modern and in ruins. Between the whispers of technology and birdsong, his inner journey reflects his closed world, culminating in a poetic transformation, a metaphor for his struggle for freedom in the face of geopolitical and technological constraints.
